This is a white wall, as seen by someone called "Auto Jay Pegg". The wall was dark on the grey-ish side, so Rosco lightened the picture a little bit with curves.
This is the same wall, as seen by someone called Manuel Rau (or Raw). Rosco pushed "auto color" + "auto contrast" and then lowered the contrast -6 to get the detail similar to JayPegg's foto.
This is the same wall again, as seen by some Japanese fellow named F.M. Nikon. Rosco forgets what he did.... Oh no. Wait. He hit auto levels, auto colour and auto contrast.
